The “Tim” is an early 20th century steam tugboat. The model can be built as a workboat or as a museum boat (with railings). The model is distinguished by a complete set of fittings and high-quality engraved brass parts, enabling the model to be finely detailed.
The voluminous hull provides ample space for the entire RC installation. An optional smoke generator can also be fitted. The model can be fitted with lighting. The chimney is foldable, as on the original, and can be folded down using a servo. The kit can be driven by conventional brushless motors, but also by brushless motors.
The “Tim” is made entirely of wood. The kit features state-of-the-art laser technology and high precision fit. The hull is built using the hinged-member technique, and is covered with laser-cut, precision-fitted wood.
