The Smerch multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) is designed to destroy various group targets, such as manpower, unarmored and armored vehicles, artillery and anti-aircraft systems, command posts and other objects of the military-industrial structure. “Smerch” has developed a wide range of missiles with a firing range of up to 70-90 km: with fragmentation and cumulative fragmentation warheads, with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead, with a thermobaric warhead, with self-aiming warheads, a missile for anti-tank mining of terrain with 25 anti-tank warheads minami and others.
